Tenby's annual arts festival is set to go off with a bang this September, with events catering for every taste.


TENBY, WALES, July 31, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Tenby's annual arts festival is gearing up for its 19th event and the organisers have invited everyone to participate in their exciting range of programmes.

Running from September 18th to 25th, the arts festival is a popular attraction for locals and tourists alike. Visitors are bound to flock from the many hotels Tenby has to offer in order to enjoy the fun.

Some of the festival's highlights this year include a "glittering" night of opera and champagne, a female harpist group and a classical guitar band.

Renowned alternative comedian Alexei Sayle will be dropping by for an evening of comedy in the Welsh resort and mezzo-soprano Helen Sherman will be on hand to serenade festival-goers.

The festival will also see a range of events spread over evenings and nights, including the return of the famous "Tenby's Got Talent" competition and a writing event for adults.

For the grand finale on September 25th, a performance from the Tangomotion dancers will be accompanied by music from acclaimed ensemble Tango Siempre.

Season tickets are available for GBP60 per adults, GBP12 per child and cover all the events listed on the booking form. Tickets can be booked by telephone or post before September 10th.
